• Apprentice Ceremony
  Leader: From this moment, until he/she has earned his/her warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as [insert name]paw.
  
  [insert mentor's name here], you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to [insert apprentice's name here]. [insert mentor's name here], you have shown yourself to be a warrior of [insert vitue #1 here] and [insert virtue #2 here]. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice.
  The new mentor and apprentice touch noses, and they both go to the side of the clearing.
  
  
• Warrior Ceremony
  Leader: [insert mentor name], is [insert apprentice name] ready to become a warrior?
  
  Mentor: He/she is.
  
  Leader:I, [insert leader name], leader of [insert Clan name], call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . He/she has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him/her to you as a warrior in his/her turn. [insert apprentice name], do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?
  
  Apprentice: I do.
  
  Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, [insert apprentice name], from this moment on you will be known as [insert warrior name]. StarClan honors your [insert trait #1] and your [insert trait #2] and we welcome you as a full warrior of [insert Clan name].
  
  *Leaders rests muzzle on new warrior's head. The new warrior then licks the leader's shoulder.
  *Clan chants new warrior's name.
  
  
• Elder
  Leader: [insert warrior's name], is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?
  
  Retiring Warrior: It is.
  
  Leader: Your clan honors you and all the service you have given us, I call upon StarClan to give you many seasons of rest.
  
  *Leader lays tail on new elder's shoulder. New elder pads over to the other elders.
  
  
• Deputy Ceremony
  Leader: I say these words before the body of [insert dead deputy's name], so that his/her spirit may hear and approve my choice. [insert new deputy name] will be the new deputy of [insert Clan name].
  Alternate Ceremony:
  Leader: I say these words before the spirits of StarClan so that they may hear and approve my choice. [insert new deputy's name] will be the new deputy of [insert Clan name].
  
  
• Medicine Poke Apprentice (Leader version)
  Medicine Poke: Pokes of [insert Clan name] as you know I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a Poke [insert reason why it is becoming a medicine Poke apprentice]. Your next medicine Poke will be [insert kit name here].
  
  Leader: [insert kit's name], do you accept the post of apprentice to [insert current medicine Poke]?
  
  Apprentice: Yes, [insert leader name].
  
  Medicine Poke: Then at the half-moon you must travel to Mothermouth, to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine Pokes.
  
  Leader: The good wishes of all [insert Clan name] will go with you.
  
  *Medicine Poke touches noses with new apprentice.

  Deputy: Yes, I'm ready.

  *Leader wakes up and heads back to camp with medicine Poke. Leader can tell no Poke about the ceremony.
  
  
• Medicine Poke Apprentice Ceremony (Medicine Poke version)
  Medicine Poke: [insert apprentice name], is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine Poke?
  
  Medicine Poke Apprentice: It is

  Medicine Poke: Then come forward.
  Warriors of StarClan, I present to you this apprentice. She/he has chosen the path of a medicine Poke. Grant her/him your wisdom and insight so that she/he may understand your ways and heal her/his Clan in accordance with your will. Now lay down next to the stone
  
  
• Medicine Poke Ceremony
  Medicine Poke: I, [insert medicine Poke's name], medicine Poke of [insert Clan name], call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/she has trained hard to understand the way of a medicine Poke, and with your help he/she will serve his/her clan for many moons. [insert apprentice name], do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine Poke, to stand apart from clan rivalry between clan and clan, and to protect all Pokes equally, even at the cost of your life?
  
  Apprentice: I do.
  
  Medicine Poke: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine Poke. [insert apprentice name], from this moment you will be known as [insert new name]. StarClan honors your [insert important traits].
  
  *Current medicine Poke rest his/her muzzle on new medicine Poke's head. New medicine Poke licks medicine Poke's shoulder.
  
  
• Name Changing Ceremony
  Leader: Spirits of StarClan, you know every Poke by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the Poke you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this Poke a new name. From this moment on he/she will be known as [insert new name], for [insert reasons for name change].
  
  *Leader rests head on newly named warrior's head. Warrior licks leader's shoulder. Clan chants the Poke's new name.
  

Note: These are the basic guidelines for the Clan ceremonies. They may be tweaked slightly, but for the most part should stay the same.
