Name;; Duskclaw
Age;; 38 moons
Gender;; Male
Species;; Arcanine x Samurott
Clan;; RiverClan
Rank;; Leader or Warrior, Deputy
Personality;;
This canine is a leader through and through; he loves and willingly takes charge of all situations that come his way.
It is difficult for him to function as a subordinate, when he believes he knows better. His pride barely allows it, however there are times when he does find a clan, or another individual, where the leader, or the individual, makes an impression on his mind, where he is willing to work under another out of respect.
However, even though he does strive to rule "with greatness", in reality Duskclaw can be a total ass. There are many occasions where he cares only about himself. In a life or death situation, he would without hesitation, pick saving his skin over another. It’s not that he is a coward (he's quite the opposite actually), however most of those who do know him mean nothing to him, Rarely does he find someone that he rather risk his own being for.
Backtracking to the point where Duskclaw "rules with greatness", well... how can you rule without a great mind? All in all, Duskclaw here can be considered a genius for his age, when it comes to strategy, planning ahead, and thinking a step ahead of his enemies. Although he wasn't born with the certain mindset, actually infact he probably isn't a true genius. Just him being smart, and using his experience from previous fights to his advantage.
Preferring to outsmart others, and manipulate them using words and strategy, Duskclaw's physical strength and fighting experience, is quite under estimated. He is quite advance, and on a high level as a warrior. He isn't afraid of death and will take a fight as far as possible. Winning is always necessary in his eyes, even if it means cheating. Who said that he had to be honest to "rule with greatness”?
There are many who see no harm in straying or exaggerating the truth. And in fact, Duskclaw is one of them. He is a liar, and will use it when necessary, if not all the time. Why be honest if you are better off with the false truth? However, when it comes to simple questions, you can often find Duskclaw being quite blunt in his responses. He does not lie, to pity or to help another. He only lies for himself, not for the benefit for others. If he harms another with his truths, it does not bother him in the least.
This brute has no fear or hesitation in playing the part of the reaper. The claimer of death. He does not take kindly to betrayers and will prove to others that he does not enjoy being played.
Even with all his dark traits, who said that this brute cannot be ladies’ man? He does not need to care about the feelings of others to enjoy their company. Duskclaw does not believe in the idea of romance or love-- possibly from his relationship with his own mother-- however it does not mean that he abstains from the idea of attraction and pleasure.
To summarize dear Duskclaw up he is quite rude, aggressive, impatient, harsh, blunt, a liar, unafraid of death, intelligent, enjoys flirting, and possibly a few other things.
While he truly believes that he is great, Duskclaw always holds the thought, at the back of his mind that "even the greatest are known to fall."
Description;;
In true honesty, Duskclaw would give off the appearance of an Arcanine, just with an abnormal coloring. However the differences don't stop there. Not only do his colors consist of grays and blues, he is somewhat larger than the average arcanine, and where most arcanines are more prone to fire, Duskclaw is prone to water.
In an arcanine where the cream color would reside, there is a light gray color, with a blue tint instead. Where there would have been orange, there is a darker gray, almost black color. And the black stripes? That on Duskclaw, is a dark almost royal blue color. Unlike most arcanines, the eyes of Duskclaw seem to belong to a feline rather than a canine, with their golden pierce gaze.
Furthermore, the pelt on Duskclaw is sleeker than most Arcanines, an adaptation once again from his mother, which rather makes living in water more habitable.
Body type is that of an Arcanine, while colors and more...special traits are inheritances from his mother who had been a Samurott. While, Duskclaw is main the type made for water there are some, yet techniques acquired from his father that are rather fire in type.
History;;
Born to a Samurott in the RiverClan, Duskclaw grew up without being aware who his father was. Not an uncommon event, however he was positive that his father was no member of RiverClan, at the time there were no arcanines within it, which would have been uncommon thing as those of fire lack an advantage within the RiverClan.
When first born, everyone including his mother was left unsure for the longest time whether he would display any traits required to live efficiency in the clan. Besides his absurd coloring, Duskclaw, Duskkit at the time held the appearance of a growlithe.
Not much was expected of him until he received the name Duskpaw, where he was put as an apprenticed under the deputy. While he lacked any special effects, Duskpaw was rather talented when it came to battling and the basic physical tactics and techniques. From that point on, Duskpaw improved, his deputy and mentor taking pride and began willing to risk more techniques. At some point, even though late Duskpaw began showing signs of water attacks, which became a turning point for his life, as it pushed him fast into a warrior where he obtained his name Duskclaw.
His personality was developed into the way it is due to his isolation for the time where he lacked anything special or something that would make him similar to that of the other clan members. Everyone had a connection with the water, a connection he lacked.

The sun was just setting, light was scarcely visible in the forest. Trees heavily blockaded the sun’s soft rays of light. Animals of the day were heading off into their burrows and nests, hiding away, resting for the upcoming day. As they set for the night’s dreams, others lay in their nests, waiting for the last of the sun’s rays to disappear, with the sleep of the day, came the vivid awareness of the night.
The day and night continued as usual with little regard to events and actions of small meaningless creatures. Never could any Pokémon have such a heavy impact that it would obscure the path of the sun’s movement from day to night-- 'cept for possibly the legendary Pokémon, and those Pokémon who just had the ability to manipulate the weather. No matter how much they prided themselves in being at the top of the world, their hunts and mindless arguing could not have impacted nature--once again except for those selected Pokémon.
As the light disappeared, large gray paws escaped the confinement of the RiverClan camp, treading their way across the small creek, little evidence was left of the RiverClan's leader disappearance. The sound of rushing water was the only sound breaking the otherwise silence that would always occur during the change of day.
The ears of the RiverClan leader, Duskstar twitched as he made his way into the marshland territory. Unlike the thick forests of the ThunderClan, or the ShadowClan, the territory was not exactly populated with prey, and yet contrary to what outsiders were led to believe, if one knew where to look, one would be informed on the reasons why RiverClan has never suffered in food shortages. As long there was water there was one: fish, and two: prey looking for water source.
Nonetheless, the RiverClan leader was in no mood for hunting, he would leave that to the hunting patrol. Rather he was looking for peace, from the clan's constant activity. He had no idea why he had wanted the position of leader in the first place. He had constantly needed to deal with other Pokémon, he needed to listen to their constant whining and yelling, the elder's constant bickering and questioning his actions, his motives. Whoever had said that being leader was an honorable and important position, was correct, yet they forgot about the fact about the constant annoyances that came with yet.
And still, he would never give up the position. Too much power came with it. He would make the clan the most powerful, if not the most known. No longer would he let all the legacies and important events occur between that of ThunderClan and ShadowClan. No longer would his clan be excluded from StarClan's prophecies. Because even in ShadowClan, there had been no other leader like him.
The RiverClan leader, Duskstar led his yellow eyes toward the sky. The stars were just becoming visible along with the rest of the silverpelt. Laying his gray body on a relatively moist ground, Duskstar continued to his body fall into rhythm of his surroundings. The sound of rushing water soothed his body, as he once again returned to his thoughts of his future greatness.
